Kevin Davis was named managing editor in 2018. He joined the ABA Journal staff as an assistant managing editor in 2015 after working as a freelance writer and newspaper reporter. He is the author of the nonfiction books The Wrong Man, Defending the Damned and The Brain Defense. Davis earned a BS in journalism from the University of Illinois and an MFA in creative writing from Northwestern University. He has taught nonfiction writing at the University of Chicago School of Continuing and Professional Studies and at Loyola University Chicago.
